Petr Telegin Ltd. was founded in 1994 as a distributor of medical equipment for functional diagnostics.
From 1997 in collaboration with the Department of New Diagnostic Methods of Myasnikov Moscow Cardiology Research Institute the company started developing the BPLab 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitor.
The BPLab 24 hour blood pressure monitor is used for noninvasive blood pressure and pulse rate measurement and monitoring during 24 or 48 hours.
In 2003 the BPLab 24 hour blood pressure monitor was validated through the International Protocol of the European Society of Hypertension(ESH-2001). In 2006 the device was validated for BP measurement in the pregnant population through the EHS-2001 International Protocol.
BPLab is recognized by Dabl Educational Trust - a respectable international organization training specialists and patients to measure blood pressure correctly.
BPLab was designed and tested in full conformity with the international safety requirements(according to IEC standard 60601-2-30; 1999).
Today the BPLab monitor has a firm position on the market of medical diagnostic equipment. It is widely used in many clinics, hospitals, medical research centres.
The company has won several tenders held by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
The BPLab ambulatory blood pressure monitor is manufactured serially. The annual volume of production is more than 2000 items.
